We are planning a florida trip and my daughter wants to bring her best friend. Does her friend need to bring a note to fly.?

    I don’t think you need to get “parental permission” papers. But when my son went to stay with my parents over the summer, I gave them a notarized letter, stating that I gave them the right to make emergency and medical decisions for him while he was in their care. I think “ permission papers” are a good idea in this day and age whether they are required or not. Call the airlines to be sure.

    Gosh, I hope you're not really anyone's parent! You don't tell us the kid's age or what country or state you're flying from. An adult should be able to think of this stuff.
