Why do dentists like to have a full on conversation with you when they’re poking around your mouth with sharp tools?

Like no I’m not interested in insurance right now. I don’t care that you follow my mom on Facebook. I don’t care about what your daughter said about her boss. Maybe the reason my gums seems irritated is because you keep poking it with a shank. Geez.

    And then they tell you it's because you didn't brush your teeth correctly. Like... excuse me... I'm not the one that just stabbed someone's jaw lmao.

    It's their idea of a joke... I think. Or they're reenacting a scene from a medieval themed play that revolves around torture. Probably the latter.
