I don’t understand why liberals trust the government? Why is that?

This is the same government who gave syphyllis to black people, interned the Japanese, approved slavery, lied about WMD, killed the Branch Davidions etc... We already know mostt of them don’t care about normal people. During the cold war they built nuclear proof shelters for themselves but practically none for us.

When your only other choice is being screwed over by the corporate masters, you do what you have to do.

We don't. But we know that government can work. Most of "who"? The government is not a single monolith. They are people just like us. You cannot blame everyone in government for the actions of a few bad leaders.

I don't understand why conservatives trust corporate America/Religious institutions. Why is that? I figure we shouldn't trust anyone 100%

They may believe in forcing the govt to work for the people. They mostly don't believe it will without input. They never seem to just leave it alone. The smarter ones believe in constant meddling. It seems that a lot of cons just say, "Leave trump alone, let him run the country." "NOOOOOO.", say the libs, "we can`t."
