Try to convince a black person that they should no longer identify as black. Let us know how this plays out. Your idea arises from the inane notion that we are all "equal" we aren't.

No, pretending that humans come in races should be.
Ethnicity is the language and culture you were raised in. It has nothing to do with skincolour or genetics

Banning it does nothing to stop people thinking in those terms. It's just another useless law.
All people are created equal before the law. All cultures are not equal.
