I did when I was younger but the urge was so strong I'd do it all over again the next time it popped up. There is no reason to feel guilty, it's not bad and even though some clergy will tell you it's a sin, it isn't. They often refer to the passage in the old testament of Noah spilling his seed and use that to say masturbation is a sin. Noah wasn't masturbating he was having sex with a woman who was not his wife and he pulled out so she wouldn't get pregnant. It is considered a sin to pull out during sex because god needed them to populate the earth. We no longer need to populate the earth because it's way overpopulated now so it would not be a sin to pull out. Anyway it's not a sin to masturbate, it only has beneficial side effects, no negative side effects and lastly if God hadn't wanted us to masturbate he wouldn't have made it so much fun to do it. God wants us to enjoy our bodies and get pleasure from them. BTW men who masturbate at least 5 times a week when they are younger are 50% less likely to get prostate cancer when they're older.

I used to feel bad about it when I first started, but now I don't because I know I am not the only one that's doing it.

NO.... it's a natural release, and not sure why you'd "feel bad". You're not hurting anyone with your personal, private activity.

Why feel bad about something that feels good.
As long as you're not letting masturbation interfere with your normal daily routines, social interactions and responsibilities there is nothing to actually feel bad about.
It's a safe and effective way to relieve pent up sexual tension and stress, nobody is going to get pregnant and you aren't going to catch an STD.
Start focusing on how it makes you feel good.

Masturbation is beneficial because it provides for the need to ejaculate semen. Masturbation is fun, pleasant, enjoyable, safe, healthy, normal, harmless, contributes to prostate health, relieves sexual tension, and pain from overfilled seminal vesicles. Masturbation aids sleep when done before bedtime. Frequent masturbation prevents wet dreams, and the painful condition known as “blue balls”. Masturbation leaves one with a feeling of relaxation, contentment, and well-being. One cannot get an STD from masturbation.
