I have a lake view, but in summer, this one tree completely obstructs my view. What’s more important? A source of serenity or 1 silly tree?

Cut it down.

Tree is also increasing the sacred serenity in a

sense besides trees cannot move their own will.

You can plant one on each side that would eventually frame your view. Tall thin trees would be better.

I say the tree is more important but then again I also don't care about your view of the lake,

Both are very important. maybe the tree could be pruned so it doesn't obstruct all of the view,I have this same problem.

Get the tree chopped down and restore your source of serenity.
