I feel ashamed to eat meat again. help?
ok so I was a vegetarian for 5 years, I lost ALOT of weight in those 5 years. I became a vegetarian because of my love for animals. as odd as it is my favorite animal is a cow so as I got older I could bring myself to eat beef, pork or any kind of mean till this past year, I've slowly started eating meat. started at fish, then chicken and today I almost ate beef. can I eat animals if I love them so much? am I a bad person? will I get fat again?

First off, Good and bad are subjective and do not exist in reality. You are not bad for eating what you were meant to eat. Go full carnivore and you will feel so much better. cooked steaks, Raw organs and also cook some bone broth. You need to put away the dogmatic mindset of "but animals are our friends we cant eat them because so and so" they are not our friends, they don't even have a self image or know what what they are never mind being knowing you and to be friends with you lol Listen to what your body is telling you. Your health should always be above the silly animal below us. We are on the top of the food chain for a reason. We are monsters and will kill for survival. Just like they would if they were starving somewhere. We are meat. We need meat to maintain good health. Fact

Maybe you got a craving for meat, because you need more protein. Listen to your body.

Just try again hun! Any amount of lowering your meat intake helps the animals, the planet and your body!
The biggest mistake people make is all or nothing thinking. This prevents them from trying again when they fail at a vegan/vegetarian diet the first time. But if you keep trying, you’ll get it right eventually. Progress, not perfection. Just try again tomorrow! Or do a one week challenge, that’s actually how I went vegan!

Hi 👋,
I feel that eating meat unnecessarily doesn’t make sense if you love animals. There are some who violate the guidelines and give abuse against vegans. I think that is absolutely wrong. Those people wouldn’t like to be abused like that themselves, whether online or in life, so why should they bully vegans?
There are many vegan books out there, such as Veganuary’s “How to go vegan” and “Living Vegan for Dummies”. Why not buy them off of Amazon Smile (supporting a good, ethical, animal-friendly cause)?
Can I please tell you about Goodsearch? Goodsearch is a US search engine that allows users to earn one cent to a US cause of their choice per search. Why not use Goodsearch to do some research?
Also, why not watch vegan videos? Be warned that some videos have graphic depictions and/or descriptions of animal cruelty and environmental/habitat devastation. I would recommend Bitesize Vegan, Joey Carbstrong, Earthling Ed and That Vegan Couple.
Thanks.

If eating meat bothers you, don't eat it.
But there's there's no shame in eating meat. Humans evolved into the dominant species on earth because we ate a diet high in calories......more calories than plants contain.

you gain weight if you eat more calories than you burn. doesn't matter if those calories are from chips or chicken.
All the rest of your question is just so much nonsense..If YOU feel guilty and feel like a bad person, stop eating meat.
period.

Get over it man. Animals kill for food. Its unhealthy not to eat meat. Veganism is hippie lies. Are you a pot smoking hippie.

I don't believe in the sentimental angle of vegetarianism to begin with. The best reason is because it is good for your health one way or the other. It is easy to see that the meat eater goes down long term, probably because of the saturated fat. If there was a natural repulsion to eating flesh, that ship has sailed. No point in revisiting it.
