I'm not a huge fan of the Reacher books, so I've only read three or four. Of those, I liked "61 Hours" best, although I barely remember its plot now.
Reacher is described as being 6 feet 5 inches (1.96 m) tall, weighing 210–250 pounds (95–113 kg) and having a 50-inch (130 cm) chest. So Tom Cruise is ludicrously miscast, no matter how fit he is for his age or how many butts he can put in movie theater seats. The role requires a man assembled on a scale of Chris Hemsworth, Jason Momoa, etc.

I've always thought that someone like that Tom Cruise guy should play Jack Reacher. But I don't suppose that'll ever happen in our lifetimes, will it?
