其實股市真正的漲跌與幣值的升貶並非一定的對比,開放外資接軌國外股市的市場較會有連動關係,封閉只限國內流通交易的股市就較沒有連動關係
台灣是開放外資接軌國外股市的市場,而且外資佔有率還不小,尤其是權值股,因此外資的連續大買或大賣都會直接影響到股市的漲跌,台股是以台幣交易的市場,外資大舉介入台股必須先兌換成台幣,即須大量買進台幣後才能下單買股票,大買台幣就會使台幣升值,然後大買台股,股市就會上升,於是這十幾年來就經常發生台幣升,股市漲,台幣貶,股市跌的情形---當然,台幣升值或貶值不一定是投資台股的外資產生的,跟全球貨幣市場的變化較有關聯,另外央行的貨幣控管也有關聯
