Has anyone seen Jehovah's Witness Governing Body member Tony Morris in a liquor store?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1bbuNsxWkDo
Tony Morris was caught buying expensive booze ($800) and driving a Cadillac on a Sunday morning around 11:00AM. Should he be living high off the hog while members sacrifice? And shouldn't he had been in church?

That s a LOT of booze.
Q: which one of you here has ever spent $1,000 at a liquor store on EXPENSIVE scotch?
Q: why did Tony?
A: Problem drinkers can t live without it. Tony is a problem drinker and can t risk running out.
That money should have been used to get Tony some help.
He’s a raging alcoholic and he’s falling apart.

hi there
as surely as my avatar is tight pants tony, this is nothing but an apostate driven lie.
as if a governing body member, anointed by jehovah, would spend donations meant for the preaching work on expensive grog while dressed as benny hill.
i mean it's not like he snuck out while all jws were off the streets or anything.
anyone believing this has their pants on too tight. next you'll try to say judge rutherford was a drunkard.

Jesus said:
16 “With whom will I compare this generation? It is like young children sitting in the marketplaces who call out to their playmates, 17 saying: ‘We played the flute for you, but you did not dance; we wailed, but you did not beat yourselves in grief.’
18 Likewise, John came neither eating nor drinking, but people say, ‘He has a demon.’ 19 The Son of man did come eating and drinking, but people say, ‘Look! A man who is a glutton and is given to drinking wine, a friend of tax collectors and sinners.’ All the same, wisdom is proved righteous by its works.” Matthew 11:16-19
So Anthony Morris bought alcohol. Is he better than Jesus? No, he is a servant of Jesus who spent 48 years of his life in the ministry. He and his wife raised two sons, who also serve Jehovah, they and their wives.
It was a serious problem when Jesus Christ was accused of being a glutton and a drunkard. He did not make up those accusations that were made against him, because he knew how people who hated him loved to slander him with half-truths. He ate, so he must be a glutton. He drank wine in gatherings such as the wedding at Cana, so he must be a drunkard. NO, NO.
While eating and drinking, Jesus dedicated his life to the ministry given to him by his Father and God. He did not retaliate when people accused him of being a glutton and a drunkard, because he knew that he wasn't one.
Neither is Brother Anthony Morris.
Brother Morris' life story is here, where he talks about his first love, his love for Jehovah:
https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/2015361
I do not question Brother Morris' dedication, not one bit. Jesus also said:
11 “Happy are you when people reproach you and persecute you and lyingly say every sort of wicked thing against you for my sake. 12 Rejoice and be overjoyed, since your reward is great in the heavens, for in that way they persecuted the prophets prior to you.
Matthew 5:11-12
These things happened to him, and yet he was able to see his faith grow stronger and stronger, and his sons serve Jehovah as well. We often can see the real person by the way that his family sees him, and how he maintains his first love for his God.

who knows maybe he was born into a rich family? Who cares? I was watching a televangelist who just bought a new private jet and he already had a bunch of them. He does nothing to help others and his is by donations. He gets paid. JW's do not get paid for preaching.

Why is this an issue? He bought some liquor. He was not hiding it. He was not making a big deal. It was a shopping trip. This could have been his trip to stock up for the year.
I made a trip back in September and bought 4 bottles of rum and whiskey. It was $100.00 I still have those 4 bottles and it should last me another year.
Nothing to see except a person buying liquor.

Look at the blue face JW trying to make excuses for his lush of a leader.
He says, "we need wine".
Tony was buying over $850.00 worth of scotch and Irish whiskey, NOT WINE.
Look at him quoting scripture about judging others when that's all JWs do all day long, especially, their cult leaders who likie their drinkie.
Hypocrites.
This is what god's mouthpiece does whilst his followers are donating money to him on a Sunday morning.

The memorial of jesus christ is coming up April 19. We need wine.
Also it's nothing wrong with drinking in moderation at other times. The bible condemns drunkenness.1 corinthians 6:9-11
Mark 14:23
And taking a cup, he offered thanks and gave it to them, and they all drank out of it.
Luke 22:17
And accepting a cup, he gave thanks and said: “Take this and pass it from one to the other among yourselves
Jesus provided wine at a marriage feast when the wine ran out:
John 2:1-12
Acts 10:15
And the voice spoke again to him, the second time: “Stop calling defiled the things God has cleansed.”
Acts 11:9
The second time, the voice from heaven answered: ‘You stop calling defiled the things God has cleansed
Matthew 7:5
Hypocrite! First remove the rafter from your own eye, and then you will see clearly how to remove the straw from your brother’s eye
Matthew 7:1
“Stop judging that you may not be judged;
John 7:24
Stop judging by the outward appearance, but judge with righteous judgment

He sure was seen, and the person who saw him provided this footage. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=C-5DP2DmegU
This is a YouTube video of Tony Morris, one of the Jehovah's Witnesses Governing Body, who dressed up as an old man and went 23 miles away on a sunday morning while all JWs were at the kingdom halls, and bought $900 of whiskey
Some ex jw was in the store and filmed him. Caught on camera. However, as all good JWs, who would never dream of missing a sunday Watchtower study at the kingdom hall, claim that ex JWs are under Satan's control, they will refuse to believe the footage and say it was a set-up designed to do damage to their precious Governing Body (a tiny number of men in America who hold absolute sway over millions of JWs).
Well, no ex JWs need to try to do damage to the GB. They damage themselves without any help from anyone else, with all their printed statements and actions like this, by one of their own. It isn't considered wrong for JWs to buy or drink alcohol, by the way. The 'crime' here is not setting the right example to other JWs by missing a vital sunday meeting. The Cadillac might raise eyebrows if it is a very expensive model, but GB members feel no shame at lavishing money on themselves, seeing as they claim to be God's spokesmen on Earth.
