Why do we continue to perpetuate the myth that the male and female orgasm are vastly different?

1) There is no evidence for this claim save for anecdotal "evidence" (if it can be called that). Just because women react more dramatically during orgasm does not mean that they have more powerful orgasms.

2) It is unfair to group all women together and say that – as a collective – they have more powerful orgasms. To the contrary, data shows that orgasms vary from individual to individual, not from male to female. In fact, data from countless studies show that males and females have near identical orgasm intensity, similar heart rate levels, and similar blood pressure levels. According to all current data, the male and female orgasm is nearly identical.

3) The likely explanation for why orgasms are described differently is due to purely psychological reasons, emotions playing a huge role.

Because the difference is real and not a myth. Men and women are programmed differently and those differences are amplified by hormones.

If the body shudders that is the best a body can do.
