Would you mind answering a quick conceptual physics question on induced emf do to a magnetic field?

If you have a very thin wire in a non uniform magnetic field (say a magnetic field due to a current carrying wire), as you move the wire will there be an induced emf?

I don't think so since the area of the wire is technically zero right?

If the "very thin wire" does not enclose any particular area, there will be no induced emf.
