The printer does not print, or there is a printing error. What can I do?

I don't mind a printer-troll. Who else would I talk to on a Saturday night?

Update: either you are points trolling or as your questions are generally unrelated technical questions, this is unlikely to be from an end user and would appear to be from a tech support trying to gain knowledge for personal gain. Either way this is against Yahoo T&C and reported

Check over the printer settings.

clear the print queue. you do that by turning off the print spooler, wait a few seconds then turn on the print spooler service again and you could also delete any dangling files in the queue but usually you dont need to do that. if that doesnt fix it you have a more serious problem.

Fix it.
