    To solve the problem you have to first find out how many mg are in 1 ounce of the egg substitute. Let use "x" to represent that number.

    We know this:

    2x = 45

    We then do the math and find the value of x by dividing both sides by 2

    2x/2 = 45/2

    x = 22.5

    Now that we know how many mg are in 1 ounce, we multiple by 3 to get the number of mg in 3 ozs.

    3(22.5) = 67.5

    So there are 67.5 oz of cholesterol in 3 oz of egg substitute

    1 ounce of egg substitute has 45/2=22.5mg cholesterol

    3 ounce of egg substitute has 22.5 x 3 = 67.5mg cholesterol
