Next time you find yourself wasting your life arguing with a flat Earther (and that's what the argument is), start with the question "what is your threshold for admissible evidence?"

Are photos evidence? Videos? Other data that has been recorded? Mathematical proofs? Conversations with people who had first-hand experiences?

In general, after they lay out what does and does not count, you can then ask them (by their own standards) if the Vietnam War actually happened. By the standards of evidence they typically try and use, there is no proof that the United States fought a war in Vietnam last century.
