if Ronnie Vanzant and the passed Skynyrd members were alive, would they have a great career?

Hi. I am 18, a guy. if the original members of Lynyrd Skynyrd still alive would they have a great career? I like how the new Skynyrd band likes to keep their dream alive with Gary. I've seen so many Skynyrd shows! whenever they come to town I'll go! if the originals were still alive would they have a good career?

I've heard it said that the '77 plane crash was the equivalent of one of The Beatles being killed on the way to perform on the Ed Sullivan Show. Skynyrd was on the verge of exploding into superstardom when that plane went down. The "New" Lynyrd Skynyrd has never been anything but a shadow of the original that pales in comparison. I think the "new" Skynyrd wrote and recorded only one worthwhile song - "The Last Rebel". Otherwise, they've added nothing new. Despite the presence of Rossington, they're just a bunch of replacements playing 40+ year old hit songs.

It’s not a good idea to assume.
