Do you know what the major difference is between Christianity and all other world religions?

World religions place the individual on their own merit, striving for spiritual perfection. The individual must please their god(s) and / or die for their god.

In Christianity, Christ Jesus took all of our sins upon Himself, suffered on a cross, and willingly died in our place. Jesus was then buried in a borrowed tomb and three days later, He defeated death, and resurrected from the grave. A Christians hope is in a Savior who fully accepts us because of our faith in Him and His sacrifice for us. We don't earn our place in heaven by religious efforts or good deeds. Heaven is a free gift to us, when we begin a relationship with Jesus Christ.

The major difference between Christianity and all other world religions is that in Christianity, God reached down to save us because we are helpless to save ourselves, whereas in all other religions of the world, the followers have to reach up to God and try to be good enough to earn their own salvation. It's not possible.

Only God's way is the true way to everlasting life in eternity. God reached down to save us. We can do nothing to earn our own salvation and nothing can change that.
