Thoughts on suicide...?

So i constantly have Suicidal thoughts and for the most part they remain that way. i've had counseling and i was told (i live in the uk) that if i ever feel suicidal to call the samaritans, a 24h line that helps ppl like me.

Thing is, if i really wanna end it, why would i ask for help? If i think of calling them then i am pretty sure i can stop myself from doing it. I understand that other people may not think clearly, may be stressed and all and do need that kind of help, but in my case my thoughts are very clear, my plans are pretty accurate and my feelings are pretty set. So why call them?

Have you tried anti depressants? I was suicidal 3 years ago, I took Niacin and still do. (Drs used to prescribe it before AD's) The niacin took away the suicidal thoughts in about a week.

I think depression is the source of your suicidal thoughts. Until you can get some type of treatment (or it just blows over) You might want to give them people a call....I did and only talked about 3 minutes cause I decided it wasn't helping, but maybe it will help you....never hurts to try. Prayer helps a lot too.

I will pray for you.....I hope you feel better soon.
