w-4 Form question for non-hired single day pay?

I went in for a working interview as a dental assistant (not hired) and doctor wanted me to fill out a w-4 form afterwards. How do I fill out "total number of allowances you're claiming" and "additional amount, if any, you want withheld from each paycheck". She asked me to come for a second work interview in 2 days. I'm not sure if I'll be hired still and I dont know what to put there

single, 1 allowance if it would be your only job and you're not a dependent; single 0 if you're a dependent

Fill it out the same way you would if they had already hired you. Based on number of dependents & marital status.

Total number "0". No need for an additional amount.

You don't do this until you are hired.

Put single, 2 and $0 for additional withheld.

#1 they have no right to ask you for aW-4 information until you have been hired. #2 The W-4 ... the full W-4 ... is a four-page document that includes a worksheet. If you fill out the worksheet, it will direct you what to claim. Most of us know if we are Married or Single. Commonly people claim M-2 or S-2. The higher the number of exemptions, the less tax withholding payments you will make. If you want a refund next April you claim S-0 or M-0. Unless you have other sources of income, there is no reason to have any "additional amount".
