Would you rather kill someone else literally or yourself emotionally?

Religiously speaking which is better?

Example:

a) Kill a person and immediately forget about it. (clean conscience)

b) Not kill a person but believe you did for the rest of your life? (you are a murdered in your own eyes)

Oh, like that Robin Williams movie, the Final Cut, where he remembers killing his friend as a child and is racked with guilt, until he finds out as an adult that his friend is alive and really wasn't badly hurt, but his fear that he killed his friend overshadowed the memory. Great film.

Emotionally. Even if I forgot it immediately, my Father would know the truth. I would rather believe I was a killer then to really be one.

Stupid and unrealistic either/or choices are ridiculous as they don't exist in reality.

In a Tibetan gospel of the twelve apostles it is written : that it's much better to take the abuse than to be the abuser ,

Jesus said then the other cheek, but is it applied righteously in modern terms. he also said that offenses will come but wo unto those by whom they come

And He said be harmless as doves...

In LDS doctrines it is attributed to Jesus to have said renounce war, but seek diplomacy and the church Or people are not giulty of the first offense , or the next, (there is justification) in self defense. However when it comes to killing Jesus is attributed again to say do not kill, not do anything like it , and definitely the shedding of innocent blood is one of the top evils of killing. Imo

Disclaimer, one of the LDS apostles said of the gospel of twelve that it was a fake gospel. It does have different styles of stories than the bible

No one that kills ever really forgets about it, it seems, according to those that had to do so, including veterans and police, etc. They might temporarily forget. For a while. Not too long, it seems. So a) is merely impossible.

Comparing unreal examples will probably lead to not-real conclusions, so better to instead get highly realistic examples if you want to conclude a highly realistic conclusion (or at least have a chance to do so).

If I kill the person, do I have to immediately forget about it?

I googled, "When did cheerleaders show bare legs" and Microsoft classified it as porn.
