Females give birth. Males fertilize females.

    Everything else is secondary, subsidiary.

    They can’t be equal.

Keep in mind, all of these things are tendencies or generalities, *not* absolutes.

But men tend to be more aggressive (not necessarily violent, though that too), while women tend to be relatively more passive. Men tend to be more "thing" oriented (ie more interested in dealing with stuff than with people), and women tend to be more "people" oriented.

In a dangerous situation, men usually tend towards "fight or flight" (that is, they will either hit back, or run away), while women will often, instead, "friend or freeze" (that is, they will try to defuse the situation by "making nice" with their would-be assailant, or will simply lock in place).

There are probably other differences as well, but again, keep in mind that these are only tendencies.

The behaviour of men has a higher disagreeable factor than the behaviour of women. And that affects all of our respective behaviours in nearly all situations. Testosterone causes disagreeableness.

    Because they are opposite sexes.
