Why are there not many details for the Middle Eastern sections in DNA.?

I want to know if DNA tests actually tell you where your ancestors are from in the Middle East or if it just says a certain amount of countries. I have seen how for other continents like Africa and Europe they have so many details for every ethnicity but for the Middle East they have very few options that they will show you and I want to know why.

If specific information is not available it means not enough people that live in or have reliable knowledge that they come from those regions have submitted DNA for the database builders to conclude that specific markers are indicators for those specific regions.

The important thing to remember is the science of analyzing DNA is mostly statistical analysis of geneologies that can be traced, and finding common markers in DNA of those tracable geneologies.

maybe not enough people from the middle east have participated in those tests yet.

However, you should be aware that DNA doesn't say who your ancestors were, nor what your ethnicity or nationality is. What those tests find is people with bundles of DNA (you have 46 chromosomes, plus mitochondrial) that are (almost) identical to yours. People who are your (distant) cousins in some way

Those areas weren't updated in the data banks yet. They have to do DNA samples to be able to post results that can be applied to the DNA tests.

Probably because less of their customers are middle Eastern.
