    If you lose 5 to 10 lbs in three days it's going to be all fluid and water weight, not fat loss. Why? Because fluid weight is the first thing we lose any time we are dieting

    "Military diet" is notorious for dropping 5-10 pounds in 3 days.

    Rapid weight loss --> rapid weight gain. It's because it's not sustainable and usually involves drastic tactics.

    You don't eat at all (or at least no carbs), maybe you take some laxatives, and also you get as dehydrated as possible. That way maybe it would be possible, although such a dehydration would be dangerous. However this is just temporary, as soon as you've been on the scale you should quickly rehydrate (or you'll die) and you will gain back most of the weight.

    If you meant a permanent weight loss it is not possible.

    It's actually physically impossible if you want to lose fat, but it can be done if you're fine with just losing fluids. Actual fat comes off at a rate of about 2 pounds a week, but I knew a ~600 pound man who lost 20 pounds in a single week by switching from all food to soylent. He had no will power, no self control, no cooking skills of any kind so he just changed to soylent. He wanted the girl who liked him to REALLY like him. <3

    You can look up how boxers who were 5 or 10 pounds over the limit did crazy crap to lose it before the match.

    walk or run 10 miles a day and eat light

    Do that sauna way boxers do to loose weight before a match but watch out it can kill people
