What do you think about Georgia's "Heartbeat Bill"?

The “fetal heartbeat” bill makes it illegal to receive an abortion once a heartbeat is detected in the womb, which happens around six weeks. The law is one of the most restrictive abortion laws in the nation.

I like it! A step closer to stopping the murder of innocent unborn babies!

I like the law I'm from Georgia and I feel that once a body has a heartbeat it also has a brain it has a possibility of feeling pain and being conscious and being a human life. You don't need to wait 6 weeks to know that you had sex either willingly or by rape. You know that when it happens! And if you don't want to become pregnant you can go to the doctor the next day and take a pill that stops you from developing a baby. A woman should have that right! But after it develops into a living human being it's taxpayer it's a human being and it needs to be protected as if it is a fully grown adult. There are women that have abortions at 8 months because of their sick minds they're getting back at their boyfriend that left them or the rapist that raped them by killing the baby inside of them and that's just plain sick!

    That's fine, all very noble.

Now are you going to pay more taxes to support all those babies when their mothers are not able to, when they go on welfare or the children end up in foster care.

Are you going to accept the increased costs when these children leave foster care and are either unemployed or have babies themselves. Or the increased cost of the legal system - statistics show that children that are raised in foster care are more likely to commit crimes as adults.

Utterly ridiculous, and yet another example of religious morons valuing the potential rights of potential humans over the actual rights of women. And, it won't hold up in court, I suspect,.

Most women don't know they're pregnant at 6 weeks so basically the law turns women into govt controlled incubators coerced into slavish obedience to some one else's ludicrous religious dogma.

What makes the GA law worse than the other heart beat bills is it allows for criminal investigation of any woman who has a miscarriage and the possibility of actual jail time upon conviction.

All together know everybody repeat after me__ "Under his eye"

The GA bill like the recent OH version also doesn't provide any exemptions for those women who were impregnated by rapists or by incestuous fathers uncles or brothers.

Ok, you are in a room with a 6 week old baby (a real baby, not a fetus) and a Petri dish with 5 embryos in it. A fire starts, and you need one hand to hold a rag over your mouth so you don't breath the poinsous smoke. You can only use one hand to save the baby or the embryos.

Do you save the baby or there fertilized eggs?
