Need help with getting fit.?

what’s your advice for this? I’ve been running a mile a day then a lift weights and such for the rest of my workout. I’m not trying to become a bodybuilder or anything but I’d like what is called the “v shape” I want to avoid looking stocky. I suppose “lean” is the term I’m looking for. So what are things I need to do more of and things to avoid?

    On the workout part, you seem to be doing fine. You didn't talk about your diet, so you will have to keep that in control. Have a low fat, moderate card and high proteins diet.
