There's no comparison. The word "cult" has come to signify a religious group which is sinister. Christianity is a belief system

I asked myself this many years ago. I compared the two, and found little difference. IN fact I was just reading a world history book, which basically said, that before Constantine elected that Christianity become the main Roman religion it was considered a cult. Personally, I think they are the same thing. Look into the cult of Mithras, it has many of the same themes and characters as Christianity.
