You cannot be Christian and believe in evolution. Yes or no?

There's no use believing IN evolution. It won't do anything for us, and there's no reason to trust it.

But accepting that evolution happened is just accepting what Christians have traditionally accepted: that the material universe bears witness to God's creative power. There is overwhelming evidence that all known life on this planet shares a common descent. It's proven, twice over.

Most Christians grasp this. And I worry about the ones who don't, because they are saying that God's process of creation is subject to his having strictly reported every step of it to them, and God is forbidden to have included any process they don't approve. That doesn't seem all that Christian to me.

That is not true, no. Just because you interpret Genesis in a literal manner which is not compatible with evolution, that does not mean that other Christians do so.

I wouldn't go that far. When a person becomes a new Christian, God considers them a spiritual baby. They're not expected to have the maturity yet to realize that they've been hoodwinked if they happen to have fallen for the evolutionism lie. Now after some time, God expects some spiritual growth (Heb 5:12), and if they are still believing that lie, he might have a problem with that.

If a person expresses interest in becoming a Christian, I don't ask them any sort of evolution test question that they have to pass before I show them from the Bible what it takes to become a Christian.

Evolution is proven scientific fact, with corroborating evidence across all fields of study. There is literally millions of independent datum that prove that evolution IS THE process by which life on earth adapts, mutates, and diversifies.

The "bible" is a book of myths, legends, fables, and stories from 3300-2000 years ago, largely plagiarized from older myth cycles, and this is a proven fact.

"Evolution" is a lie, and it is calling Jesus a liar. Because Jesus confirmed Adam and Eve as literal.

Believe in Jesus to take you to heaven, and you will be in heaven, no matter what, guaranteed. That easy, thanks to Jesus! People deny evolution because they haven't figured out that the Genesis passage was written to people who were herding sheep 3000 years ago. These sheep herders did not know about quantum relativity, string theory, Higg's boson or time frames of billions of years. The purpose of the Genesis account is about who (God) made the Universe, not about when or how He made it.

Aren't Christians supposed to believe that God never lies. People even say that God cannot lie. If that is true, God would never have left evidence that Earth is billions of years old, unless it actually was billions of years old.

Considering most Christians accept the overwhelming evidence for evolution yes, you can be a Christian and believe in evolution. The question is why would you want to? Be a Christian that is. Seriously why would you believe that nonsense in the Bible is true?

Since no god exists to say otherwise, you can be any kind of Christian you want. Any other Christian who disagrees are the real false Christians.

No, most Christians around the word realize evolution is proven to be true. It's mostly just ignorant American fundies that deny it.
