    They already do in the form of: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 which replaced Roman numerals of I, V, X, L, C, D and M in the Middle Ages.

    Yes. In school I learned that they are called "Arabic numerals," but did not learn that they are of Hindu origin.
