Can someone make a living as a pizza delievery driver?
I use to work part time as a driver 2 years ago at papa John s. It was a second job and easy money. I left after the whole racist comments by the CEO and price hike on pizzas. I was looking to do it again but as full time job. Is it worth it ?

No. This is called an entry-level job. It is not meant for a career.

That's how I make my living. And I live in Los Angeles too, which means I make more money doing it than most drivers, but the cost of living is much higher too. I'll never be rich doing this, but I can get by. It would be much more comfortable if I wasn't in so much debt, if I was I would have almost a thousand a month left over after bills. The single most important factor is where you work. You must work in an area that's expensive, so people have lots of disposable income. If you work in a poor area, you will make hundreds less per month. Also you must make sure there are enough hours. Most pizza places treat their employees like ****, just work a few hours and then go home, especially if it's slow/too many drivers. So make sure you are in the right situation.

My nephew made $500.00 a night in tips delivering pizza to oil field workers who were swimming in cash. This was in NW North Dakota a couple of years back, he is now a high school teacher.

If you live in the South and have a newer but cheaper car that gets good gas mileage, you probably can manage. If you're in southern California, Seattle or New York City, then no. That said, save up some money to get a better education so you can get a higher-paying job. Living too close to the edge isn't a good way to go, but delivering pizzas can help get you on your way if you use the income in the right way.

You are asking strangers who for the most part have never done it and you have. Why? Who would know better than you?
You should be able to determine how much your pay will increase with more hours. If you can get full time.
Papa John did nothing wrong. Not even close.

There's probably no harm in researching Uber Eats and comparable services.
