Over due dissolvable stitches need to come out?

My sutures are ready to come out but havent yet and I cant take time off from work to go get them removed. They are dissolveable and well past their time. Is there anything I can do to make them fall out faster?

My doctor said they need to come out but cant drive 6 hours itll take me to got there and back. It's been almost 2 months they are only supposed to last a max of 30 days

    take them out yourself. cut under the knot and pull it out

    Many places can take sutures out, I am assuming they are on the surface.

    Call his office and ask to speak to his nurse. She can tell you exactly what to do.
