I’m scared to have a girlfriend?
I am a 16 year old lesbian who used to identify as bisexual. Back when I identified as bi, the thought of having a girlfriend seemed so nice to me. But after I realized that I’m lesbian, the thought now makes me feel uncomfortable. I feel kinda weird when I picture myself being romantically involved with another girl. Don’t get me wrong, I still am attracted to girls both romantically and sexually, but now I’m just not so sure if I’m really ready for a girlfriend. Is it due to my change in sexual identity, or am I just afraid of intimacy all of a sudden? Please help.

It's natural to feel a bit scared when you embark on something new, wondering whether you'll click emotionally and sexually with another girl. It's a big step going from bi to lesbian too, committing youself to one gender only. I think it's worth you trying though, so Good Luck! :)

I doubt you're afraid of intimacy, especially if you haven't been before. Maybe once you fall in love with a girl, you feel it out for a bit and find out? If you feel afraid still, it might be something but if you aren't, it might've been due to the change in identity.

You might not know your sexuality, you could definitely be questioning.
