  • Should I try using Tinder?

Hi, so I just turned 18 about 2 months ago and I’ve been thinking about downloading Tinder. I actually downloaded it a few weeks ago but I quickly got weirded out by it, so I ended up deleting the app. For one, I feel a little strange meeting up with someone I just met online (especially considering the fact I still don’t have my driver’s license.) I also don’t want to freak my parents out, because I know they’d definitely be concerned if I told them I was going to meet up with a stranger on the internet. And COVID is still a thing, so it would definitely be somewhat risky for me to go out and meet someone. Despite all this, the idea of trying to download it again is really exciting to me, and I’d really like to maybe find someone on there. Hell, I’ve never been in a relationship before, and I think I’m finally ready to meet someone. What do you think?

  • Should I switch schools?

I currently attend a very tiny, all-girls school that enrolls students from grades 6-12. Recently, I’ve noticed that I haven’t been too happy at school, and I’m seriously thinking about switching to a different school in the fall. For starters, my school is just so tiny, and I really don’t feel like I connect with anyone there. The all-girls thing can also be hard to deal with sometimes (because you know how teen girls can be.) Sometimes I think that I’d be happier at a different school, but part of me doesn't want to leave. I really love my teachers at my current school, and it would be quite difficult for me to leave them. Any advice?

  • Looking for some advice? ?

I’m a junior in high school and recently I’ve found myself becoming irritated by some of my classmates. Some of them actually used to be people I really liked, but now I find them to be kind of annoying. Many of them are loud, immature, and they all try to be like each other. This has caused me to become lonely and sometimes even depressed/angry while I’m at school...which I can tell is impacting my mental health in some ways. I also just don’t really have many “good” friends at my school, and many of the people who I find annoying are all part of the same big friend group. Am I just jealous of them, or do I have a legit reason to feel irritated? What should I do about this?

  • How to stop feeling bored and miserable?

I really want 2020 to be a good year for me. Last year I just felt so bored and miserable a lot of the time and this year I wish to change that. Please, if you have any advice, I would greatly appreciate it.

  • What’s up with my guinea pig?

So last week my family and I brought home a new guinea pig that we named Noelle. Ever since we’ve introduced Noelle to her cage mate, Luna, Luna’s been acting weird. She’ll scream if Noelle gets to close to her, but she hasn’t really been aggressive at all. Luna can be really shy and she gets bullied a lot by our two older guinea pigs. What’s going on with her?

  • Does this make me a loser?

I’m a 17-year-old girl. Lately, I’ve been feeling like I’m missing out when it comes to my “romantic life”. I’ve never kissed anyone, never been in a relationship, you get the deal. I know this isn’t super rare for my age, but I feel like I should be experiencing things like this more often while I’m still a teenager. Many of my friends and classmates have already started dating as well, which has caused me to feel like somewhat of a loser...is this normal for my age?

  • How to find a girlfriend?

Hi, I’m a 17-year-old gay girl and I really would like to have a girlfriend. I’ve never been in a relationship before and I think I could possibly benefit from being in one now. I actually go to an all-girls school where a lot of the other students are also gay, but a lot of them I don’t know very well. I’m also kind of shy and have some self-esteem issues...any advice?

    Thanks!

  • Could this mean anything?

I had a dream last night where one of my schoolmates was affectionately kissing me on the head. I’ve always thought that she was kinda cute, but I wouldn’t really say that I have a crush on her or anything. We’re also kinda friends but we really don’t talk to each other that much. And her birthday is tomorrow btw so that could maybe help explain something.

  • I’m worried about my best friend?

Today I was hanging out with my friend and she told me a few things that concerned me a little. She told me that she has been using LSD, cutting herself, and having sex with her boyfriend who also uses drugs. She’s only 16, and while I understand that some of this might be normal, I’m still worried about her. I personally think that she’s a bit young to be doing this kind of stuff. Am I right to be worried or should I just leave her be?

  • How could I possibly see her again?

A little while ago I went on a school trip and there was this other girl from a different school there. I only talked to her a few times, but later on I developed a little bit of a crush on her. But now the trip is over, and I might not ever get to see her again. I know she has an Instagram, but I don’t want to follow her because that seems a bit stalker-ish. Any tips on how I could see/talk to her again? Thanks!

  • I’m scared to have a girlfriend?

I am a 16 year old lesbian who used to identify as bisexual. Back when I identified as bi, the thought of having a girlfriend seemed so nice to me. But after I realized that I’m lesbian, the thought now makes me feel uncomfortable. I feel kinda weird when I picture myself being romantically involved with another girl. Don’t get me wrong, I still am attracted to girls both romantically and sexually, but now I’m just not so sure if I’m really ready for a girlfriend. Is it due to my change in sexual identity, or am I just afraid of intimacy all of a sudden? Please help.

  • How can I get to know her better?

Hi there, I’m a sophomore in high school and I’m also a girl. Right now there is this freshmen girl who I like and I want to get to know her better. Recently, I found out that the play I wrote in my performing arts class is going to be featured in my school’s playwright showcase, and she is starring as the main character! The other night I texted her and she replied saying that she was excited and that she really liked my play. I feel like this would be the perfect opportunity to get to know her better, but I’m

also a little hesitant to approach her in person. Please help? I really like her...she has such a sweet personality and the cutest laugh.
