driver indicated left but moved over right then suddenly turned left hitting me as i passed who is at fault?
A car pulled out into my lane in front of me and we continued forward. Ahead their is a bus lane im allowed in on my motorbike and a petrol station on the left. he started indicating left but then moved moved about 6 foot to the right following all the cars avoiding the bus lane.
suddenly i saw his break light and assuming he was about to turn left tried to speed up to get out of the way he turned fast hitting my bike and dragging it some distance into the petrol station forecourt.
I have camera footage and a witness. Im worried that because he indicated i might be held in part responsible but everyone so far has said just because you indicate does not mean you can just turn without checking.
My bike is a huge bright yellow ex ambulance bike its very hard to miss if you look in a mirror. And when he pulled out he cut up some motorbikes in front of me so was very aware motorbikes were around him

To clarify, where are you? From your description it sounds like you drive on the left, but the exact road rule still depends on where you are.
Added: Well I suppose it doesn't matter. In any case, where I live, a car is permitted in a bus lane for 30 metres before doing a left turn. This stands to reason because it would be insane for vehicles to do a full turn across a lane of traffic in any circumstance. If that's the case at your place, it seems your driver has done something I see increasingly, which is to think he is not permitted in a bus lane at all. I've seen numerous near misses because of this.
And yes, a driver's blind spot is not a good place for a motorcyclist to pop out of suddenly. It's possible to be right and dead.

The Highway Code is littered with advice that you may only proceed if it is safe to do so.
It clearly was not safe for him to turn.
However it was also not safe for you to proceed, and you knew he was careless of other motorcycles from his cutting them up. When you know that just back off let the idiots go where they are going and continue safely and unhurt.
Just let the insurance companies sort it out – just do not put the part about seeing he was turning and speeding up in your statement.

What he did is called "weaving" and is illegal. This time he caused an accident. Great you have cam pix- everyone needs a dashcam these days with so many idiots on the road who wil not look out for other traffic.

Weighted. He is very much at fault for not going correct direction, but you might have hung back.
A Dodge Ram slid over from L turn lame to right, I pulled forward; then he slid BACK into the LT lane! No signal, either time. I had to get on the medium to prevent getting squashed! That was 100% His fault.

If you saw his brake lights you must have been behind him, yet you decided to speed up to pass him on his left. A prudent rider would have held back until he was sure what was happening. You're right, though, just indicating doesn't give the right to turn without checking it is clear and safe to do so.

Your insurer will decide on the matter.

however way you put it you have some responsibility ..you saw a situation developing ..he wanted to turn left ..realised he was in a bus lane and got out of it ..he still wanted to turn left ..there are always blind spots in mirrors ..he probably was unaware you were there ..or even know a bike is allowed in bus lane ..you should have held back ..not speed up
