What happens after people are charged with felony after dogfighting and the person who called to report doesn't show up in court?

Recently I just used text to 911 in regards to what seemed like a dogfight to me and honestly i'm not sure if I made the right thing but I reported it out of fear i'm scared they might reveal to them that I reported the dogfight hence why I changed my number since then both have released from jail but charged with the felony someone please help and assure me I did the right thing

No idea if you did the right thing. "What seemed like a dogfight" is not clear.

The person reporting the dog fight isn't required.

The people conducting the fights would never have been arrested, much less actually charged, without evidence beyond their report. If is gets to court AT ALL, there is sufficient evidence to continue the trial without that ONE witness.

The police are not going to rat you out.

You can be ordered by the court to appear.
