what is the PCB which controls the source menu, on my home stereo called, please?

    If it has a menu, it has a CPU (or MCU) which will be linked to all the controls on it, not just the source selection.

    Depending on the make and model it may just have one large board with everything on it, or it may have different boards for different sections.

    It's likely to be called the main control, CPU or digital board - but without the make an model info that is guesswork..
