Your sentences [not; sentence!] each begin with a grammatical error, namely, a misrelated participle. Sentence 1: As previously stated,
Sentence 2: Additionally.
Your sentences should be written like this:
Study programs that are offered by the faculties are, as previously stated, the reason for my choice of ABC University. The additional fact that the university is the only one in X city that is dedicated to the study of economics makes me confident that I have made the best choice.
