what does this mean?
my meds say "Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun or sun lamps" What does this mean though? Does it mean exposure to the medication or to me?

It means once you take the medicine you need to "Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun or sun lamps" , in other words stay indoors as much as possible

Some medications make a person taking them more sensitive to the sunlight making it much easier to get burned. Obviously, that applies to sunlamps or tanning beds as well.

Usually, it would be you. If that sentence was referring to the medication, it would more likley talk about "store in a cool and dark place".
