Get real - you can only buy and/or sell securities through a registered broker/dealer.
Yahoo IS NOT a broker/dealer

Because Yahoo portfolio is not a broker. You still need to get a broker to perform trades (you should be able to link your portfolio to your brokerage account and then execute trades).
