Will makeing crystals work this way using borax baking soda rocks from outside water container sitting out for days in sun would this work?

That would probably produce some crystals, but if you want large crystals you should keep the container indoors, out of the sun, and perhaps even partially covered. For larger crystals you want the solvent to evaporate slowly -- the slower, the larger.

You keep saying "rocks". What kind of rocks? rocks do not dissolve in water.
