I just blanche mine for a couple of minutes - drop into fast boiling water for two minutes then straight into cold water and get them cold fast - dry and freeze.

Blanch them in boiling water for a minute or two, drain, cool, then freeze in servings in good freezer bags,

It is best to blanch them (partially cook them).

one can tear apart a brussel spout to contribute to a salad, but they can be bitter. they are great roasted, fried, grilled with butter, salt, lemon, or cheese.

    Freeze uncooked.

blanched is the best way for most all veggies.

All you need to do is look up a site on how to freeze veggies.

You can do either but it's best to eat them raw.

you should never cook sprouts, peel them and put them in a salad.

If you smell that horrid smell when you cook them you have released a nutrient that has been destroyed by the heating process.

You are never suppose to smell veg and you destroy the vitamins through cooking them.

Not cooked, but blanched, that is put in boiling water for 1 minute and then in cold water.

    They should be blanched first.
