Would you be worried for your friend if this happened?

Let’s say a friend of yours posted that they were feeling suicidal. After that, they stopped being on social media. So the next day (after they posted the suicidal thing) you texted them asking if they were okay and they didn’t reply. And they hadn’t been on social media ever since they posted that they we’re feeling suicidal. Would you be worried about them?

Yes, and I'd be trying to reach out to mutual contacts to see if anyone else was in touch with them. If no one had heard from them I'd call the police to do a wellness check.

If you were this person’s friend you wouldn’t be asking this question. You obviously don’t feel empathy for others because you would already be feeling worried.

YES! I’d assume something terrible happened to them and would go to their house to check up on them or call the police!!!
