What do you think of CoolSculpting? Is it worth it?

It is a lot less expensive than traditional liposuction and, there is no actual surgery or recovery. The main issues include:

    1. A lot of pain during the procedure

    2. Lumpy/bumpy appearance after it's done

    3. A single treatment only "kills" about 25% of the fat cells in the area

    4. It take up to 3 months for the fat cells to disappear, so it isn't an "instant" result.

    5. It still is expensive and most people need multiple treatments to get the results they want.

It may be a great solution to truly stubborn extra fat in one area but it is not a good replacement for diet and exercise.

I worked as a nurse in the medical cosmetic industry. Cool sculpting is best for already lean people with MINOR imperfections. If you’re on the pudgy side, it’s not for you. From what I’ve seen, results are very disappointing, especially considering the price point.

    It’s a no from me.

It is non-invasive so it should be safe. No one can guarantee a satisfactory outcome.
