Difference between Prehistoric (Paleolithic and Neolithic) cultures and ancient Egyptian culture?

Even without the hieroglyphic writing in ancient Egypt, do you think that just the Egyptian artworks would have been enough for us to understand Egyptian culture? Why or why not? Think of an object or monument from our culture today with no writing on it that if discovered 4000 years from today, it would provide information about our 21st-century society.
