San Diego. I've been to every state and almost every major city in the country, and San Diego is easily top 3. Perfect weather, beautiful bay, lots of stuff to do etc. I've also always loved ships so the huge naval base there is cool to me. Coronado is an amazingly nice, old-school American feeling community too if you have the money to live there. The only downsides of San Diego were that you pretty much need to make over $100,000 to fully experience it, and it's pretty close to the Mexican border which results in quite a lot of homeless people who got into the United States but have no money to leave the area they crossed at so get stuck there, commit crimes etc.

Denver has stuff to do, but it's in the middle of freaking nowhere so you can never really leave the city, and a lot of it is very run down.

I hated Austin. That place feels like it got the worst of both Texas and California (half the residents are from Los Angeles and moved there for cheaper cost of living, then tried to make it into mini-California which did not work at all and just angered the Texans).

Seattle is nice, and in a great part of the country, but it's just too gloomy there all the time and salaries do not at all line up with cost of living.

I'm not into winter sports, which rules out Denver, although it's a great city. I love Seattle- it's got great seafood and nightlife, but the raininess would depress me eventually. So I have to go for San Diego, although because of the military base, it's very conservative. The weather is good, though. Austin sounds good, but it's in Texas.
