Wattage a laptop takes when strictly charging?
So I have a Laptop I want to get (Acer Nitro 5 with 1050 ti) and it comes with a 150 watt charger. When the Laptop is charging without me using it, does it use the entire 150 watts to charge? I'm thinking about getting a battery bank and the one I'm looking at only goes up to 100 watts for the ac adapter. I need to know about watts only.

When charging, it wont use the whole 150W. The 150W is not for charging but to power the laptop itself. When on full load, the charger will use 150W. If just charging, the charger may use just 20W to 50W depending on how low the battery is.

The high wattage simply allows the battery to charge faster than say a 40 watt charger. It essentially has no difference to other chargers other than that.
