The only time it bothers me is when people don't separate their ideas and sentences with
periods and commas. It's because it's hard to read what they have written.

Because when you write 'Your bad' we assume you mean 'Oops, you made a mistake'. If you actually meant 'You're bad', I'm afraid the meaning was lost.

Because how you present yourself to strangers is extremely important. First impressions are lasting impressions. If am reading a resume or giving a job interview and I encounter poor grammar skills, that person is not likely to get the job if the job involves dealing with the public.

Well, sure, but if you're explaining or describing, gotta go with grammar as an act of trust...that learning the foundations and fundamentals of language have at least a potential for driving the page to a better understanding. Discovery also happens with language---a reminder of an image, a phrase.

In words and wordplay, grammar is usually the point of the question.
In real life if you read a document that is full of grammatical errors it devalues the authority of the work. If the writer can't get that correct what reliance can you place on the information they are providing? In short it becomes a matter of credibility.

Very frequently, using incorrect grammar makes it very difficult to understand what someone is talking about. Leaving out a comma, using incorrect spelling, poorly constructing a sentence, etc, can change the meaning completely.
The person writing the question might know what THEY mean, but the person reading it is often not going to have a clue!
