My puppies poop had random black spots...?
My 11 week old puppy has Giardia ( it was announced on Monday night) and he is on Panacur medication and taking it for 5 days.
His poop has been yellow ish colour but today his poop had black spots he does like chew on newspaper so I’m wondering it can be ink?

When one of mine came to us, at 4 months, with bad stools, he was diagnosed with Giardia (and roundworm ova - and this was a 'reputable breeder I'd known for as long as I'd been in the breed), and put on Panacur. This did nothing. He had to be given metronidazole before we got a few negative fecals. I have no idea what the black spots might be other than blood, coming from way up his digestive tract? Which would be bad news. I doubt it would be newspaper ink - but you need to stop him chewing that regardless, before he gets a blockage.
I think you do need to get your vet to check his stools for EVERYTHING. Who knows what else is going on with him!!
ps Giardia can infect humans so you need to exercise basic hygiene when dealing with the pup, and what he's producing. We had to use Jeyes Fluid (which did the grass no favours) to be sure to kill off anything left when he poohed.

Unlikely to be newspaper ink (which is now soy based, btw.) Instead, it would be a good question for your treating vet. It could be some of the Giardia cysts being expelled, or your puppy may also have coccidiocis, as well.
