Is it possible to be 135 pounds?

I am 21 and 5’2 woman and 175 pounds.I want to be 135 but don’t know if it’s possible because I have always been obese ever since I can remember from childhood.I have always lost weight but gained in such a short period of time.Lowest weight for me in adult hood is 157 but gained it back within maybe a year.Does genetics play a part of weight loss?all my fathers side all the women are obese(like 100 pounds or more)I eat maybe 2000 calories a day and still gain easily.or is it my metabolism is very slow?im afraid of being back at over 230 pounds again(highest weight I ever was).I wanted gastric bypass but to much risk and expensive.tell me do I need extensive training to keep my weight at 135.I am Peared shaped.

Of course it's possible to be 135lbs. At 5'2" your target weight is 115lbs, plus or minus 10lbs. At 135 you'd still be a little heavier than recommended.

Yes, genetics play a part, just as diet and exercise do. I'm 5'2".. I couldn't eat 2000 calories a day.. That's a hell of a lot if you're not active, and at 175 I suspect you live a pretty sedentary lifestyle.

Get active. Cut out ALL CARBS..That means NO SUGAR, NO PROCESSED FLOUR. No bread, pasta, cereal, rice, baked goods.. No soda, no fruit.. Lean animal protein (chicken, fish) and veggies (SALAD!). Water.

Food causes obesity. The american diet is terrible with all the refined/processed fats, processed foods, grains and sugars. All are weight-gainers.

I have been eating Ketogenic for four years. I lost my weight the first year. I've stuck with it ever since.

Genetics is only one part of your weight problem. However with discipline you can lose all the weight necessary to be a lean mean fighting machine. You just need to burn more calories than you consume. Exercise has to be an important part of achieving your goals. Start off limiting your calorie consumption to about 1400 a day.

Remember, no one in the Nazi concentration camps had obesity problems, even if it was in their genes.

the reason people like you are fat cause you are onsessed with dumb stuff like "calories, proteins, carbohydrates, etc", i eat what i want i aint checking how may "calories" , u wanna lose weight, some eating garbage like pork, alcohol, pasta, and replace it with rice and chicken, its what u eat thats makes u fat, not calories. and people wo use genetics as a excuse as to why they fat are just people unwilling to change your eating habits. you can use "genetics" as a excuse to blame every problem on it. im stupid? oh well thats the genes i got, im ugly? thats genetics
