Republicans, what is your opinion on slavery?

That it happened a long time ago and u cant change the past so just learn from it and move along.. also every race has either been a slave or owned a slave.. idk why ppl only see slaves as afican.. also, a big fat no to reparations.

Slavery is the legacy of human history (not exclusive to the US) since scientific Adam & Eve's Great Grand Children Separated themselves into clans, villages, & tribes resulting from over crowding & depletion of resource ensued competition, rivalry subjugation slavery, theft, rape, murder, raiding, & warfare. Slavery has been part of N. Africa, the Arabian Peninsula, & Persia before civilization sprang up in the fertile crescent. Sub Saharans are no exemption, but had very limited contact with Kingdoms within or around the fertile crescent as the Great Sahara Desert. Ancient Egypt never went beyond N. Sudan & Abyssinia to wage war to harvest slaves. Camels originating from Mongolia enabled small trading scouts of Muslim slave traders to penetrate the Great Deserts as they slowly establish routes to Oasis within the desert penetrating the Sahel from 1000CE-1200CE into the interior of Sub Sahara along the Coast. Timbuktu was a slave Port founded by Arabs that also served as a library to spread Islam to the Elites that the Arabs were trading with for slaves in return.

Zanzibar didn't end Chattel/Caste Slavery until 1964 due to a slave revolt. Saudi Arabia in a year later. Turkey was the first among Islamic States to Abolish Chattel/Caste Slavery for European Descent & Sub Saharan Descents in the 1880s-90s. Mauritania Criminalized Slavery in 2007. The Slave Culture is still alive in Islamic states throughout the middle east trough Immigrant Sponsorship with immigrants usually unpaid, abused, raped & beheaded. Slavery is pretty much hidden & Islamist like ISIS, Al Qaeda, Boko Haram wants to revived it out in the Open. Among Sub Saharan Traditional Slavery still exist. Slaves weren't just obtained through warfare & raiding campaigns which also involved rape & mutilations, but also offering ones virgin tween daughter as payment for an offense to another family or spirits for which the spiritual leader receives the pubescent girl as his slave in labor & sex. Child trafficking is huge business in the Sahel, N Africa, Nigeria, Arabian Peninsula... South Africa being a Corrupt Rape & Murder Capitol of the World for 2 decades stems from hunter gathering culture deeply rooted within the tradition & society of Sub Saharans since scientific Adam/Eve in Africa.

Professor Dyson have been demanding for a reparation law for over a decade. Dyson's demands are for non-sub Saharan babies to set up reparation account which is consent for Sub Saharan descent to bully non-sub Saharan. Prop. Dyson's claims that all people of European lineage inherited the legacy of Slavery. Despite Dyson's claims, what people of Europeans lineage inherited were the Magna Carta, Constitutional Law, Bill of Rights that started with the U.S. Constitutions for Which Some Non European Descent Sovereign Nations had adopted for them selves & led to the Abolition of Slavery. The Global Abolition of Slavery Started with European descent from the Late 1700s to the late 1800s. In the US it was the Quakers along with the Anabaptist that started the abolition movement that was achieved in 1864. Brazil, Cuba, & Others followed in 1890s. The Union states having won the war against the rebel states abolished slavery. Since the founding of the U.S.A half of the U.S. had been anti-slavery, but had to work with the slave state for independence, strength & protection from possible foreign threats abroad or across land borders. When the confederate secede all bets were off. The reparations (D)s are proposing is a form of slavery to suppress non-sub Saharan descent with double taxation & double charges levied on non Sub Saharan descent. Independence is the ultimate reparation as independence enables one or a sovereign determine & control its own destiny instead of homestead or land grants. Independence gives full control & use of the Sovereign's territory. Abolishing slavery, public schooling, welfare, section 8, & Affirmative Action are additional reparation.

Ultimately African Countries are responsible for reparation & should come in the form of a an independent sovereign territory the size of Hispaniola or Cuba in Africa. Haiti & Liberia Failed, but with the talented tenth in charge the New Land Sovereign territory can & Rival Israel, Malta, Brunei. They can do it, but it will take all of Sub Saharan descent in the Americas sacrifice & hard work to make the Economy & the new Sovereign to work. They can call it Wakanda, & with China's help it can look like Wakanda. If the rebel states had won secession & the slaves victoriously rebelled, then the rebel states would be obliged to give up power, territorial control, property & possibly women like in Haiti's revolution.

Importation of slaves from Africa to the Americas was a huge mistake. Europe had millions of extremely impoverished Europeans from the 14th Century up to WWII. Europeans descent of N. America are feeling the mental anguish & headaches of the catastrophic mistake. Islamic, however, aren't convince that slavery was a mistake. Groups like Al Qaeda, ISIS, Boko Haram, Al Shabaab wants to bring back slavery in it's former glory out in the open.

Democrats still keep "Vote Slaves"----Making them poor and DEPENDENT---and keeping them that way.

It needs to be stamped out.

As Americans you should look to eliminate it at home first. These days it is not based on ships crossing the ocean from Africa but on people either being walked across the border or smuggled in inside vehicles. It is usually termed ""human trafficking". That makes you concentrate on the movement and perhaps not realise so much what happens to the people when they have stopped moving: they become slaves.

So, anything that can be done to reduce that flow of people should be welcomed - even if it means building a barrier on the southern border.

Also, a child goes missing about every 40 seconds in the US. many of those are never found. I wonder where they go?

It is bad and should be banned. And every former slave should get at least $1.5 million in reparations. Only actual slaves, not 4th or 5th generation descendants.

Not just whites. Africans and Arabs practiced it too. Africans sold their own people to whites for money. Some arabs had the practice of killing the slaves as they become older. In fact, only whites were the first to abolish slavery. Saudi Arabia abolished it only 1960s due to pressure from British government.

Legal is not necessarily moral -- just like abortion.

I m opposed to slavery. But why ask Republicans ??, it was the Democrats that supported slavery, it was the Republicans that went to war to end slavery.
