Yes, if as an individual (as opposed to a company or corporation.)
The court will urge pay back, via garnishee rather than bankruptcy.
[Thank you, Congress] Legislation lobbied by the Credit Companies make it difficult to do a bankruptcy as an individual, the Credit Card companies want their Money, they are not going to let a person walk away from debt...

If you have a ton of debt and are a deadbeat, maybe. Its not having bankruptcy.
